A Bit About Me
Hi! My name is Dulce Hurtado and I am the Vice President of Community Service. I am a senior at Mesa High School where I have been in DECA for 3 years. As an Arizona State Officer this year, I hope to approach our members and support them, so that they feel welcomed and become the emerging leaders our DECA mission statement encourages. Therefore, I am very excited and optimistic about Team 63 and what we can accomplish this year together. For example, some of my goals for this position are to increase the membership and motivate members to get involved in community service. I aim to do this by making community service opportunities available and within reach so it’s easier for our members. Outside of DECA, I am in Varsity Pom Dance and I enjoy baking as a hobby! For the future, I plan to go to a university so that I can develop a career in law as a criminal justice lawyer or in entrepreneurship. I am very excited and look forward to the long-lasting friendships and events planned for this year to "Experience the Difference" together!
