My number one goal this year is to create a stronger sense of connection across AZ DECA bringing together all 6,200+ members to build relationships, create more opportunities to collaborate, and ensure everyone feels part of something bigger than just competition.

Hello Arizona DECA! This is Nithil Balamurugan, serving as one of your 2026–2027 state officers and currently a senior at Mountain Ridge High School. I’m beyond excited to step into this role in my third year as a DECA member. Outside of DECA, you’ll find me filming my podcast (Career Clarity), playing tennis, or trying new foods and exploring different cuisines. I love meeting new people, so whether it’s starting a conversation at an event or grabbing a bite together, I’m always down to connect. Don’t hesitate to come say hi or I might beat you to it!
